We were traveling to Istanbul for a few days. On Sunday evening, we took a short walk in Gulhane Park, which is located near our hotel. A lot of people in the park, however, we spotted many Alexandrine parakeets perching and flying over us. Several nests of grey heron were also found there, and the grey herons were busying with collecting nesting material. Besides, yellow-legged gulls were commonly seen everywhere in the old town of Istanbul, which is located near the Golden Horn and Bosphorus. During dusk, one can see large flocks of gull hovering above the mosques, the sight is simply spectacular!
