Kinta Nature Park, 16-4-2011 - Part 2

The bird life around the park is rather rich. On the way to park, cattle egrets were easily found especially where the cattle and buffalo were feeding. Greater coucal, white-breasted waterhen and white-throated kingfisher were also spotted. Inside the park, paddyfield pipits were hanging around in the field, common iora were quite often spotted on the tree. Before we left, my wife spotted a stork-billed kingfisher on the tree, the small body size was a challenge for my 100-400mm lens, luckily I was manage to get some sharp images (considered to be very good for a 100-400mm lens after images were heavily cropped).
